SUMMARY

Within 6 months of launching Oyster Boy’s Instagram campaign the restaurant gained over 9000 local Instagram followers and is now reaching over 17,000 people on a weekly basis, through Instagram alone. As well, since January, weekly ShuckU classes have been sold out consecutively.

Oyster Boy obtained this rare 9lb Alaskan king crab from a special order. Shortly after sharing the photo on Instagram, customers began inquiring about the crab and it was eventually sold that night for $600.
